A Model and Process for the Certified Assessment of Human Resources Systems: A Pathway to Assurance

July 2007 - The University of California (UC) wanted to ensure that its human resources operations exhibit the same level of excellence that it has achieved in its primary mission areas of education, medical care and research.

The Academy partnered with UC to develop the Certified Assessment of Human Resources Systems (CAHRS) model.

Key Findings

This report documents the development of the CAHRS model. The model, measures human capital performance against validated HR Standards and includes a Readiness Review, a Self-Assessment Peer Review, and Certification.
