Emily joins the Academy as a Research Associate; she will be working on the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement project. In December 2016, Emily will receive a Master’s in Public Administration with a background in policy research, international volunteering, and strategic communications. Emily is passionate about development and public service issues. Emily has an undergraduate degree in International Affairs from James Madison University.
Emily has had numerous internships. Most recently she spent 5 months as a Peace Corps volunteer in Botswana, where she helped with reporting for the Advancing Community Partners program; worked with international and national volunteers through the Skillshare program; and supported community mobilization efforts.
