Research Analyst - Academy Funded Studies
Ms. Green is a Research Analyst with the Academy and is currently involved in the Academy’s engagement with the USAID Office of Inspector General. Ms. Green brings experience within areas of public policy, workshop facilitation, qualitative and quantitative research, data analytics, program management and public administration. Ms. Green is a former government contractor with Manufacturing Engineering Systems who served as a recreation administrator at Ft. Riley Education Service Center in Ft. Riley, KS. She is a former federal employee who worked for the Department of Defense Army Community Services in Ft. Stewart, GA as a GS-11Mobilization and Deployment Specialist. With a background in emergency evacuation planning and Soldier Family Readiness Group (SFRG) training for active-duty soldiers and family members.
She also has a background in city, state and local government. She served as the city of Hinesville’s Homeless Prevention Program Coordinator which included program oversight, grants management (HUD’s CDBG, CDBG-CV, ESG, Department of Community Affairs (DCA), human capital management and building community partnerships with property manager, landlords and other community programs to assist the HUD defined “critical” homeless population with emergency shelter and long-term housing stabilization.
Ms. Green served as a BSW intern with Riley Community Corrections in Manhattan, KS where she did background research for 21st Judicial District’s first Drug Treatment Court. During this time, she was engaged with one of Kansas Sentencing Commission sub-committee’s efforts to review best practices for community supervision and gun law revision as a part of Governor Laura Kelly’s recidivism reduction plan in 2019-2020.
Ms. Green holds a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Indiana Wesleyan University. She has sat on multiple boards with United Way as the Liberty County representative 2021, and United Way Community Investments 2021. She was inducted into the National Honor Society of Indiana Wesleyan University Eta Theta Iota Chapter April 2019.
