Why the public sector, and why you are excited about becoming an Academy Fellow?

I’m Clint Brass, and I work at the Congressional Research Service in Washington, DC. Before coming to CRS, I worked at the Office of Management and Budget, at the Internal Revenue Service at the Department of the Treasury, and several years in state government. I became interested in government service because of the potential to help make it function better on behalf of the public. I’m excited to continue affiliating with the Standing Panel on Executive Organization and Management as well as explore the many other things that NAPA is undertaking. I’m grateful to NAPA-affiliated people for the doors you have opened to me to learn and grow.
