Brad Riley

Senior Research Associate

Brad Riley is a Senior Research Associate with the Center for Intergovernmental Partnerships. He offers over 20 years of servant leadership in the public and nonprofit sectors, focusing on housing policy, social epidemiology, and advocacy for undervalued populations. Brad is also known as Councilor Riley, serving as City Councilor At-Large for the City of Easthampton, Massachusetts. He serves as the Public Safety clerk and chairs the Appointment Committee overseeing 200 citizen public administrators across 30 community boards and commissions. He is also the Vice Chair of Tapestry Health, a community healthcare system providing compassionate and dignified healthcare to over 26,000 people in Western Massachusetts.

Brad graduated from the University of Illinois with a Master’s in Education Policy and the University of Massachusetts with a Master’s in Public Policy and Administration. He also has a Bachelor’s in Workplace Diversity and Inclusion from the University of Massachusetts Amherst’s University Without Walls and professional certifications in applied positive psychology, Tribal governance, and diversity and equity.
