Brad Riley

Senior Research Associate

Brad Riley is a Senior Research Associate with the Center for Intergovernmental Partnerships. He offers over 20 years of servant leadership in the public and nonprofit sectors, focusing on housing policy, social epidemiology, and advocacy for historically excluded populations. Brad is also known as Councilor Riley, serving as City Councilor At-Large for the City of Easthampton, Massachusetts. He serves as the Public Safety clerk and chairs the Appointment Committee overseeing 200 citizen public administrators across 30 community boards and commissions. He also serves as a local government advisor to the Governor of Massachusetts and is on the board of directors for the Massachusetts Municipal Association.

Brad graduated from the University of Illinois with a Master’s in Education Policy and the University of Massachusetts with a Master’s in Public Policy and Administration. He also has a Bachelor’s in Workplace Diversity and Inclusion from the University of Massachusetts Amherst’s University Without Walls and professional certifications in applied positive psychology, epidemiology, and diversity and equity.
