Brad Riley

Research Associate

Brad Riley is a Research Associate with the Center for Intergovernmental Partnerships. He offers over 20 years of servant leadership in the public and nonprofit sectors, focusing on housing policy, social epidemiology, and advocacy for historically excluded populations. Brad is also known as Councilor Riley, serving as City Councilor At-Large for the City of Easthampton, Massachusetts. He serves as the Ordinance Committee clerk and chairs the Appointment Committee overseeing 29 community boards and commissions.

Brad graduated from the University of Illinois with a Master’s in Education Policy and the University of Massachusetts with a Master’s in Public Policy and Administration. He also has a Bachelor’s in Workplace Diversity and Inclusion from the University of Massachusetts Amherst’s University Without Walls and professional certifications in applied positive psychology, epidemiology, and diversity and equity.
