We had a great time connecting with old friends and meeting new ones, hearing from phenomenal speakers, engaging in powerful discussions, and honoring our new Fellows and Awardees. We inducted 40 Fellows of the Class of 2018. The members of this year’s class represent the very best practitioners, academics, and pracademics. They come from all areas of the country and all levels of government, and they have an experience that spans the public, private and non-profit sectors. Some of them have already done radio interviews about their careers and now their goals as Fellows.
We presented awards to Suzanne Abo (Herbert Roback Scholarship Award); Conor M. Dowling, Eric M. Patashnik, and Alan Gerber (Louis Brownlow Book Award); and the Honorable Mortimer L. Downey III (George Graham Award for Exceptional Service to the Academy) each of whom inspired us with their energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to the cause of public administration.
