Dale Bell has built a distinguished career in public service and consulting, marked by a series of impactful roles. Since 2022, Dale has been serving as the Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Office of Grants at the Department of Health and Human Services. In the same year, Dale briefly held the position of Acting Deputy Office Head in the Office of Budget, Finance, and Award Management at the National Science Foundation.
Prior to these roles, Dale was the Director of the Division of Institution and Award Support at the National Science Foundation from 2015 to 2021. Before becoming Director, Dale served as the Deputy Director of the same division from 2010 to 2015, showcasing a strong commitment to supporting scientific research and education.
