Post Date: June 19, 2019

WASHINGTON, DC – The National Academy of Public Administration, in partnership with Management Concepts, will host a June 25th forum, Identifying and Addressing Skill Gaps: Innovative Federal Practices. The forum is the first of three events this year designed to address the human capital issues identified in the Academy's No Time to Wait series of reports.

Chris Mihm, Managing Director for Intergovernmental Relations and Strategic Issues at the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO), will be the featured speaker at the first event, focusing on addressing skill gaps within the federal workforce. Following Mr. Mihm’s remarks, a panel of agency representatives will discuss government-wide activities and agency-specific initiatives to address those skill gaps.
