WASHINGTON, DC – The National Academy of Public Administration and Management Systems International (MSI), A Tetra Tech Company, today hosted a forum on fostering greater innovation in government, with a focus on how government can more effectively develop innovative leaders, build more innovative cultures, and better empower government employees to create and inspire.
“Government and public administrators will need to evolve in the face of the grand challenges of the next 10-20 years, and innovation will be the key to our success,” said Terry Gerton, President and CEO of the National Academy of Public Administration. “Government leaders at all levels must adopt a highly innovative mindset in order to encourage the cutting-edge thinking and creativity needed to overcome the thorny issues ahead, and today’s discussion offered some great tools to support that shift.”
