In 2022, a group of Fellows came together to create a series of proposals to modernize and reinvigorate the federal civil service. Each part of the series focuses on a different aspect of the civil service. The pieces will be released monthly, and op-ed versions of the pieces will be published on Gov Exec's website. Below you can find the introductory piece, written by Jeff Neal. In addition, you can see the first piece out of four, which focuses on merit and how the nature of work is changing.
