Cybersecurity Leadership – What Senior Public Managers Need to Know and Ask

Cybersecurity threats pose one of the greatest risks to public sector organizations. The trendline for cyber-attacks, both in frequency and complexity, is increasing at an alarming rate. Leaders must recognize their unique role in preparing their organizations to understand the threat from and the evolving nature of cyber-attacks. Creating readiness to respond to cybersecurity threats must start at the top; but few leaders are prepared to address this challenge. This session will discuss the evolving nature of cybersecurity threats and provide practical advice about creating capability to manage risk, leaving attendees with a rich list of take-aways and resources.
