Can you briefly introduce yourself?

I am an academic who is also firmly embedded in local government practice. Local governments are the governments that are closest to the people. Those working in local government make a difference in the public’s lives every day. That is why I am passionate about helping to train future local government leaders and to train and advise current leaders. My hope is that through my Academy membership, I can be of even greater help to local governments nationally and internationally. A “fun fact” about me is that I am identical twin.
