Director of Development and Philanthropy
Tony has an extensive background in nonprofit leadership, philanthropy, fund development and grants management for government and private organizations. Most recently he served as the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic, where he was responsible for establishing and stewarding corporate partnerships and foundation and grant funding. Tony is the former Director of Communications and Development for Montgomery County’s PEG (Public, Educational & Governmental) television station and community media center. In this role he was responsible for creating and implementing the organizations philanthropy and grant initiatives. He currently holds leadership positions in the Association for Fundraising Professionals, the Society for Nonprofits, and the African American Development Officers Network. Tony holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Psychology, and Political Science from the University of the State University of New York, Regents College.
