EOM Standing Panel: Improving Government Using Agile Practices and Data

On Friday, October 27, the Academy hosted a Joint Meeting of the Executive Organization and Management Panel and the Agile Government Center. This Joint meeting featured a presentation by Jennifer Pahlka, author of the book Recoding America. Jen is a National Academy of Public Administration Fellow who founded Code for America and has a unique point of view on how improved use of data can bring significant change to government.

Ed DeSeve presented the work that the Agile Government Center is doing in developing a curriculum for “Implementing Agile Government.”
