With over 40 years of experience in local government leadership and management, I have had the opportunity to work with innovative programs and policies that engage, improve and expand the quality of life for community members and for organizations. I have had specific interests in making sure that financial stability and viability work in concert with supporting and advancing the community and organization strategic plans. I have a strong interest in making public art and public spaces available, welcoming and inspiring. My work has always been guided by the principle of the Athenian Oath which is to leave a place not only the same, but "greater and more beautiful than it was transmitted to me."
