Dear Fellows and Friends of the Academy,
As we approach the end of 2016, we hope you will have found your association with the National Academy of Public Administration to be one of value. The Academy has been a preeminent thought leader on the vital issues of public administration facing our nation and the world. We have enjoyed providing you with our daily Management Matters email, which not only keeps you apprised of the latest news in public administration, but also provides updates on Academy events and other items of interest. In addition, our regular Standing Panels continue to bring together some of the brightest minds in government to discuss the issues most critical to maintaining productivity across government.
Over the past 18 months, we have engaged our Fellowship through ourTransition 2016 initiative, and were able to develop concrete and actionable recommendations for the incoming administration, establishing the Academy as the premier source of information when it comes to government management. The contributions from our Fellows and staff on this effort have positioned the Academy for success in the coming years.
Just this past month, the Academy produced several high profile reports that are sure to garner the attention of key decision makers in the federal government. In working with the United States Secret Service to review their organizational transformation and the Veterans Benefit Administration to assist in improving their disability claims backlog, the Academy bolstered its reputation as a leader and an expert in public management.
In order to keep these programs robust, we ask that you consider making a tax deductible year-end contribution to the Academy. When making your contribution, please consider participating in a corporate matching gift program, if possible. Your contributions are important and help ensure that the Academy remains a vibrant leader in the public administration field.
You can make this contribution by way of check (addressed to the National Academy of Public Administration at 1600 K Street NW, Suite 400, attention CFO Randy Lyon) or by credit card by clicking this link.
Your year-end giving is vitally important for the Academy and we appreciate your generous support.
Have a wonderful holiday season.
