KANSAS CITY, MO/WASHINGTON, DC – Funkhouser & Associates (F&A) and the National Academy of Public Administration (the Academy) will host a May 17th virtual panel discussion on their new joint initiative to support strategic planning and community engagement in local government.

This free interactive session will focus on how local governments can plan for the future in a more agile way through developing plans that are dynamic, inclusive, action-oriented and fiscally sustainable. Leaders from Baltimore County, MD, and South Bend, IN, will talk about their communities’ experiences, recent assistance from F&A and the Academy, and lessons learned on the importance of strategic planning and public engagement.
