The National Academy of Public Administration, in partnership with Management Concepts, hosted a June 25th forum, Identifying and Addressing Skill Gaps: Innovative Federal Practices. The forum is the first of three events this year designed to address the human capital issues identified in the Academy's No Time to Wait series of reports.
Chris Mihm, Managing Director for Intergovernmental Relations and Strategic Issues at the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO), spoke at the first event, focusing on addressing skill gaps within the federal workforce.
