2023 Academy Fall Meeting

The 2023 Academy Fall Meeting will be held Wednesday, November 1 - Friday, November 3, 2023 in Washington, DC at the Grand Hyatt Hotel - 1000 H St NW, Washington, DC 20001. Registration is now open. This event will be fully in-person with an option to add a special Library of Congress tour.

More about the Arthur S. Flemming Awards:

The Academy is excited to host this year's Arthur S. Flemming Awards ceremony in partnership with the George Washington University Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration (TSPPPA). The awards will be presented by the Arthur S. Flemming Awards Commission to thirteen public servants from a number of federal agencies for performing outstanding service in the fields of applied science and engineering, basic science, leadership and management, legal achievement, and social science. More about the Library of Congress Tour:

Staff from the John W. Kluge Center at the Library of Congress will lead a tour of the Thomas Jefferson Building. Approximately one hour long, this tour includes highlights of the 125 year old building on Capitol Hill. These highlights include the Main Reading Room, the Great Hall, the Kluge Center, Mahogany Row, the Thomas Jefferson Library, a copy of the Gutenberg Bible, and the Librarian’s Ceremonial Office. If not being used, the Congressional Members Room and Thomas Jefferson Reading Room will also be included on this tour. These areas are normally off-limits to public tours.
