Cost Management Collaborative, Session 2: Co-Hosted with Cherry Bekaert

You are invited to attend the second session of the Cost Management Collaborative, part two of a four-part series addressing one of the 12 Grand Challenges Public Administrators face: the need to Advance the Nation’s Long-Term Fiscal Health. At the core of fiscal health is maintaining budgetary process mechanisms at all levels of government that are anticipatory, sustainable, and mission-focused.

Join us as we examine the inevitability of indirect costs and identify and incorporate them. We will hear from subject matter expert Nicky Lettini, who will take us on a deep dive into understanding and leveraging indirect costs for budgeting, strategic decision making, and federal funding. When agencies acknowledge the true cost including direct and indirect costs of their programs and services, they are on their way to sustainable, resilient fiscal health.
