Local Government Working Group Meeting

Join the Local Government Working Group as they share updates on their research agenda. The research agenda, finalized at the 2025 National Conference, includes four key areas: Trust: Citizen-Governance Disconnect, Emerging Technology in Local Government, Fiscal Health and Sustaining Services, and Supporting Local Government Careers in Public Service. We will discuss how to better align our Working Group's efforts with this agenda.

Additionally, we will address improving our alignment with the Academy’s Intergovernmental Systems Standing Panel, now chaired by Kurt Thurmaier and Mike Pagano, who are also involved in the Local Government Working Group.
