Transforming Public Institutions: Session 1

Fellows John Kirlin, Mark Pisano, and Rich Callahan invite you to a conversation about transforming public governance institutions in the United States on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 2:00 pm (ET). We ask that you read the slides provided below before the session as we plan to have a thematic conversation, emphasizing understanding, refinement, revisions, or different framing. The slides are background and will not be “presented” serially.

• Transforming Public Governance Institutions

This conversation will be one of three sessions focused on NAPA's role in achieving transformational goals in public institutions. The second session will likely take place in late summer and will focus on the Hub strategy, with application to extreme weather events and the third session will likely occur in mid fall and serve as a time to reflect and refine the next steps for NAPA.
