WASHINGTON, DC – The National Academy of Public Administration (the Academy) today announced that Teresa (Terry) W. Gerton, a retired Army veteran who has served at the U.S. Department of Defense and the U.S. Department of Labor, will join the Academy as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective January 9, 2017. Ms. Gerton will replace Dan G. Blair, who led the Academy with distinction from July 2011 until December 2016.
