Press Release
WASHINGTON, DC – A Panel of the National Academy of Public Administration on September 25 will release a new white paper on the future of public service, called No Time to Wait Part II: Building a Public Service for the 21st Century. The report is sponsored by the Volcker Alliance and the Samuel Freeman Charitable Trust.
Following the 2017 release of the initial No Time to Wait white paper – which emphasized the need for a federated human capital system focused on mission first, principles always, and accountability for both – the highly anticipated new report will build on that framework, with more detailed recommendations and with a greater sense of urgency for action.
