WASHINGTON, D.C. – The National Academy of Public Administration and the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota will host the 19th Annual Social Equity Leadership Conference the week of June 8-12, held virtually this year due to public health guidelines during the coronavirus pandemic.
The Social Equity Leadership Conference is a widely anticipated annual gathering of scholars and practitioners who share their expertise on the best ways to address social justice issues, including racial and gender disparities in health, housing, education and treatment in the criminal justice system, all of which have never been more relevent or timely than they are today.
This year, content from the conference will be available at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs website, with speakers and presenters providing innovative suggestions for government, non-profits and the private sector to achieve a more equitable and just society
