“The Future of Public Service” panel at Celebration of the American Public Servant 250 Gala to feature Sen. Tammy Duckworth, IG Michael Horowitz, NASA Associate Administrator Amit Kshatriya
WASHINGTON, D.C. — As part of its Celebration of the American Public Servant 250 Gala on Monday, June 22, the National Academy of Public Administration is proud to convene “The Future of Public Service,” three government leaders in conversation about the future of American public service and administration.
Featuring:
“This panel will feature an American combat veteran and Purple Heart recipient with battlefield experience, an inspector general who has helped hold elected leaders to account with experience across important sectors, and the highest-ranking civil servant responsible for overseeing the mission that led our astronauts further into space than any human in history,” said James-Christian Blockwood. “This month’s gala will be a rare opportunity to participate in the discussions that will propel our country into the future on this important anniversary.”
Presented with Leadership Connect and Government Executive, Celebrating the American Public Servant seeks to shine a light on the value and importance of public service. The Celebration of the American Public Servant 250 Gala is the Academy’s signature contribution to the commemoration of America’s 250th anniversary, and a tribute to the people whose work strengthens our nation every day.
