Local Government Working Group Meeting

The agenda will include updates on our major initiatives, including Trust in Local Government, Citizen Engaged Government, 2027 Academy Fellow recruitment, and a proposed Local Government 2030 convening in November 2027. 

We will also discuss the State Preemption Committee’s work and plans for the October 17 convening of state/local government management associations at the ICMA Annual Conference in Long Beach. 

Finally, we will begin developing the LGWG’s 2027 work program to identify several priority projects for further development.
