Keeper of the Public Trust Award

The Keeper of the Public Trust Award recognizes service to the United States and the American People. Recipients are defined by integrity, wisdom, and unwavering devotion to the public good, possess exemplary leadership in advancing accountability, transparency, and excellence across government, and conduct themselves with steadfast service that has strengthened democratic institutions and reinforced public trust.

On June 22, 2026, The inaugural keeper of the public trust award was given to former U.S. Comptroller General Gene Dodaro.
