NAPA Standing Panel on Social Equity in Governance: Discussing the Experiences of Chief Equity Officers

On May 6th, the NAPA Standing Panel on Social Equity will host a panel discussion of former and current Chief Equity Officers. The Panel will be held virtually on May 6, 2022 from 10 am to 12 pm. The panelists include Jayné Johnson, the Director of the New Jersey Office of DEI and Belonging, Janice Underwood, the former Inaugural Virginia Chief Diversity Officer, Michael Massiah, the former Inaugural Chief Diversity Officer of Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and Manisha Paudel, the Chief Equity Officer of the City of Des Moines, Iowa. The discussion will center around how these individuals became Chief Equity Officers, and their goals and challenges during their tenure.
