The Executive Organization and Management Standing Panel will be discussing the proliferation of Chiefs in management positions across the federal government, a position created by Congress to ensure individuals are focused on addressing important areas of management. This discussion will cover the following topics:

An assessment of the role of government’s chief as designated by Congress
Strategies to address government management challenges
How are management councils working to ensure the effectiveness of and collaboration among chief management officials?
