My primary area of interest is in One Health--which is a global approach to health issues such as emerging infectious disease, antimicrobial resistance, food safety and security (among others). One Health asserts that human, animal (wild and domestic), and environmental health is interconnected. One Health is a collaborative, multisectoral and interdisciplinary approach working at all levels of government.
