Geert Bouckaert is professor emeritus at the KU Leuven Public Governance Institute (Leuven, Belgium). Currently, he is Chair of the OECD Network of Schools of Government. Previously he was president of IIAS (International Institute of Administrative Sciences), president of the European Group for Public Administration (EGPA), and vice-chair of the UN Committee of Experts of Public Administration (CEPA). His research interests and publications are related to public sector performance, financial management, trust and reform.
